Project goal, in addition to promoting development of the Coalition for Women’s Political Engagement, is to support enhancement of institutional mechanism for gender equality at the local self-governmental level. In the framework of this project is envisaged raising awareness of representatives of local self-government toward gender equality and institutional mechanism enhancement, supporting coordinated work between municipalities, and carrying out research of the legislation on local self-governments with the view of improving legislative framework of Georgia.
Project is being implemented by Women’s Information Center with the support of Georgian office of British organization “Oxfam”.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
