“Promoting public sector on central and local levels by distributing effective services” and Supporting Public Service Agency in the Implementation of Action Plan of Visa Liberalization ‘’–are projectsimplemented by the Women’s Information Center, supported by the Service Development Agency of Georgia.

The aim of the project is to give information to the people of community, especially women and youths and to raise awareness about women’s rights and gender equality.

In frames of the project, the meetings will be held in 15 Community Centers: Orsantia, Foka, Mejvriskhevi, Sadakhlo, Tkviavi, Vale, Chakvi, Kabali, Arkhiloskalo, Tsalka, Baraleti, Bakuriani, Kokhnari, Lajana, Lentekhi.

The project was implemented in two stages: the first phase - from 2016 to April 2017 and the second phase - in November 2017.

We take great pride in announcing that WIC from Georgia has been bestowed with the esteemed CAREC PROGRAM Gender Award—CAREC GENDER CHAMPIONS 2023. Certainly, it is noteworthy that women's organizations from various countries around the world were nominated for this prestigious award

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
