”Strengthening Gender Policy on Local Government Level “is nine month project supported by UNDP. The output of the project is to support localization of state gender equality policies on local government level.

Network for Empowering Female Politicians and Gender Focal Points from the Regions Kakheti and Samtskhe- Javakheti aims to empower women and equip them with the skills to make a difference within their communities and strengthen their capacities through the trainings. Promote women’s contribution in decision making in local level, build a positive profile of their achievements and support gender-mainstreaming process at local level.

Above mentioned project will be implemented by “woman’s information center” with cooperation to other organizations.

Implementation of municipal gender equality plans is supported by Municipal Gender Equality Councils member in three regions of Georgia

The project "History of Women's Movement" aimed at preparing documentary film about women's movement and feminism development in the 90s of the twentieth century. To demonstrate the work and input of the different generations women's rights defenders.

On July 26, 2019, representatives of the Women's Information Center organized a focus group in Kobuleti Municipality that included local leaders and women entrepreneurs who use / do not use the Women's Room Service.The purpose of the focus group was to evaluate the use of women's room services in the municipality for effective planning of further work.
